The Lowdown on The Quick Flick

By now, you've probably seen countless viral videos on eyeliner stamps. You might have already tried them, even. I'm here to tell you that there's another product you might be missing on because GIRLLL this is gold.

❤ Background Information

I'm a type of person who's always skeptical about things. I can never fully believe a review 100% unless I tried it myself. So when I got the chance to try out The Quick Flick at last year's Priceline event I hopped on the IG-girl bandwagon and tried one for myself. Then a few months later I got offered to try out their newest style called 'To The Point' so I did and I'm here to tell you all about it.

A little about the brand, it's an Australian company that promises to solve all your winged eyeliner issues (you know, when you're running late but you also want to look presentable? Yeah, basically me everyday). To add to their amazing-ness, they're vegan and cruelty free! YAY!

And for the eyeliners themselves, The Quick Flick offers 3 different sizes; Petite (8mm), Modest (10mm) and Grand (12mm) available in 4 different colours (Intense Black, Hot Fudge, Blue Velvet and Green Envy) while the 'To The Point' is the skinnier version of the three.

Each eyeliner kit (7 mLs) retails for AUD$ 34.99 here.

❤ Packaging

The Quick Flick eyeliner kit is packaged in an adorably pink carton unit with a coordinated colour label as well as the size (Petite, Modest or Grand). And as for the 'To The Point' version, the kit comes packaged in a gorgeous holographic pink carton unit.

Inside each kit contains 2 eyeliner wands; one for the right eye (R) and one for the left (L) as written on the cap of each wand. Each wand also contains a regular felt tip pen to complete your eyeliner look.

The kit comes with 2 separate eyeliner wands with a felt tip on one end and either R or L stamp.
Eyeliner shapes (clockwise); Intense Black 12mm, To The Point, Hot Fudge 12mm

One comment that I can make for the eyeliner itself is that I wished the R and L inscription was on the wand itself rather than the cap as I'm paranoid that one day I'll mix the two up and end up stamping the wrong side of wing in the morning right before work *knocks on wood*.  Not a major complaint, but I'd appreciate it if they would improve on the design later in the future.

❤ Ingredients

Can I get a round of applause for The Quick Flick eyeliner? They've done so well in terms of formulating their ingredients. So if you're in the market for a liquid eyeliner containing friendly ingredients this one should definitely tick the box. Below are the ingredients contained in The Quick Flick liners.

Ingredient analysis of The Quick Flick eyeliner

As shown, the CosDNA rating for The Quick Flick rates 1-2 in terms of safety. Although I am not too picky with ingredients myself, I must say that adding Jojoba Oil, Vitamin C and E is a really nice bonus because who doesn't want eyeliner on-fleek AND nourished lash line?

❤ Product

If you haven't already guessed, I am obsessed with everything about The Quick Flick liners, and the formulation is no exception. They are pigmented and they do not budge throughout the day. This is saying a lot since I find a lot of eyeliners do smudge on me after a couple of hours, from cheaper drugstore brands to high end brands and even waterproof ones (I could only count a few that actually lasts on me and this is definitely one of them). I personally do not find that the eyeliners bleed on my eyes but they do bleed when I swatch them on the back of my hands - something that you should note if you're particularly prone of eyeliner bleeding on you.

In terms of the size and shape of the eyeliner stamp itself, my favourite would be To The Point. I feel like this particular shape suits hooded eyes best as the shape is thinner and sharper than the original 12mm (Grand) size, it also gives more of an Instagram-worthy on-fleek liner look. I would also consider purchasing an 8mm (Petite) size in the future to compare with both the 12mm (Grand) and To The Point sizes.

❤ Overall

Fool-proof eyeliner stamp
Available in a variety of shades and shape/size
Does not contain commonly irritating ingredients
Contain some beneficial ingredients for your lashes and skin
Stays put all day

May bleed on some people
Would have preferred the L or R inscription to be on the wand itself

So, my verdict is... I love it! It's one of my go-to eyeliners especially for work because it's so easy and you can barely mess it up. I'm also glad that they have introduced the To The Point version which is my favourite out of the three because I haven't seen anything like it in the market and so far I have only seen eyeliner stamps that cater to those with larger eyelid space who can afford to draw their eyeliner thicker.

Let me know if you've tried eyeliner stamps before in the comment section and what you think of them ♡
